Below are some additional rates for different risk scenarios, along with some ideas for cutting the cost of your next policy.

  • Clean up your credit to lower your rates. Having a good credit rating over 800 could save you $371 per year compared to a lower credit score of 670-739. Conversely, a weak credit rating could cost up to $431 more per year. Not all states allow credit scores to be used to determine car insurance rates, however.
  • Older drivers pay less than younger drivers. The difference in car insurance cost for an Audi e-tron between a 40-year-old driver ($2,366 per year) and a 20-year-old driver ($4,752 per year) is $2,386, or a savings of 67%.
  • High-risk drivers pay extremely high rates. For a 30-year-old driver, having to buy a high-risk insurance policy could inflate rates by $2,876 or more per year.
  • Make your policy cheaper by raising deductibles. Boosting your deductibles from $500 to $1,000 could save around $424 per year for a 40-year-old driver and $830 per year for a 20-year-old driver.
  • The lower deductible you choose, the higher the policy cost. Dropping your physical damage deductibles from $500 to $250 could cost an additional $442 per year for a 40-year-old driver and $880 per year for a 20-year-old driver.
  • A good driving record pays dividends. To get the cheapest Audi e-tron car insurance rates, you need to drive sensibly. In fact, just a few driving offenses could possibly increase insurance policy rates by at least $618 per year. Major convictions such as DUI and hit-and-run could raise rates by an additional $2,172 or more.
  • Be a careful driver and pay less for insurance. At-fault accidents raise insurance rates, possibly as much as $3,336 per year for a 20-year-old driver and as much as $662 per year for a 50-year-old driver.
